The only way to keep this brush clean is to break it down, clean it, then air dry it every time it is used.The plastic used appears to be a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and mold. After buying new brushes, Phillips' sanitizer, and sanitizing the base, I had to toss another brush after six weeks. I wonder how many people have been made ill or had allergic reactions to mold.Don't waste your money. This model has to be the worse electric brush I've ever owned. It is the only one that developed black mold.

That's why I keep coming back to Amazon. Amazon has the best price by far on these replacement heads. It was impossible for me to find the compact size in the store, and other sites were charging so much more.
Definitely can not find this deal anywhere else. I love Amazon deals. I signed up for the automatic enrollment and it's a great deal. I received my package promptly which is a plus. =) I'm receiving 2 replacement heads every 3 months for $20. Works out perfectly since my boyfriend also has a sonicare.
